I liked that the staff were concerned as I reached the hotel quite late they sent me the directions. I loved how close it is to the city center. I walked to most of the attractions. THE RIVER! I had the most peaceful night. The breakfast was fresh and satisfying. And the dog! Marley! So adorable. 🥰 The staff were so kind and helpful. It’s a place I’d love to stay again and again. Felt like home.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a beautiful family owned boutique hotel. I had the river view (lower room), and it was amazing. I had a stunning view, a very comfortable large bed, a large shower, and plenty of room! The hotel is just a couple minute walk from the fountain/central location. The Wifi was good, I had several Zoom meetings during my stay. There were a couple of unstable wifi moments, but wifi never dropped the video meetings. But, what makes this place amazing is the hospitality the family provided. They went out of their way to assist with anything I needed, and they were so kind. There is no need to look further. This hotel is definitely the place to stay in Kutaisi!

Kutaisi is very small city but it has central location to visit nearby cities. We took one day tour to batumi and returned at night. Also there are places nearby to visit such as canyons and promethus caves and plenty of other places.

To be honest-it' just for hardcore travellers or backpackers yet. It's not an easy destination, they still need to improve in many ways. The people are very kind - but they are poor. There is rubbish everywhere - Sad to see it. But they are working on it, more and more attracions open every year for you to discover. The mountains are beautyful. If you don't expect too much, please support Georgia with your travel and money.

Great place especially the bridge & restaurants by the river .. 160 km away Uplistsikhe Cave Town is a must if travelling between TBILISI & KUTAISI. Food and restaurants are excellent in both. Ambience is great.
The flat is new and very well equipped with spacious lounge. Very secure with courtyard and gate and quiet. Lovely people.
Very good place to chill out in. We were a couple and a Lady friend. Thank you. We were only there 2 days but will return.

The city is nice, but to be honest after time I regret that we did not went first to Batumi or Tibilisi. For me personally, this city is good but for 1 or max. 2 days of sightseeing, after more time I would get bored. The city is very old, sometimes you can feel that it is still not so adapted to the tourism. Nice place for people that are facinated about history and old buildings. Maybe in the summer it has more to offer. We went in March when there was nothing much to do.

To see:
To see:
Prometheus Cave (it is not as touristy as the negative reviews I read, and most of the caves are lit by white light with some colored lights so you see the natural rock colors - it is awesome, the size and formations)
Motsameta Monastery (beautiful, small, on a mountain with a frescoed church and views of more of the Caucasus and river...I heard Gelati is great too but did not see it)
Bagrati's Cathedral and the surrounding ruins, including kvevrebi (clay wine jars in the ground)
Kutaisi Botanical Garden (Bagrati is on the way to this, depending on where you stay), 5 lari admission fee (bring small bills - I found out not everyone has change for 100 lari)...beautiful and with an Orthodox shrine in a tree!
Bukioti (small, colorful cafe with cacao and of course coffee, tea, hot chocolate, as well as achma (a type of khachapuri made with puff pastry) and the best desserts (lava cake, apple dessert which is an air-fried apple filled with nuts and raisins, both topped with vanilla ice cream, and others)
El Paso restaurant - good khinkali
Kolkha Fountain that is in the city center (gold-toned animals with 2 horses on top and a lit in different colors at night)
Green Flower Hotel has the best terrace in all Kutaisi - spending your weekend in the city, it's must be!! With my group of friends we enjoyed there breakfast, autumn sunset and good georgian vine. You can experience here the true georgian hospitality: despite the late check in,we were welcomed with homemade vine and chacha. The host also helped us in organising trips outside Kutaisi. Besides this, it's just 20 walk to the center. Choosing this hotel for your stay will add plenty of good memories to your trip for sure ;)
Everything was great in this hotel and will definitely recommend to our friends.. it’s a very central and walking distance for all shops, cafes, bar and restaurants in Kutaisi. The room was so pleasant, comfortable and clean😊..
The host Niko was so helpful and attentive to all of our request.. thank you so much Niko for making our stay worthwhile your customer service is so exceptional💯 you even took your effort to help us to get the bus ride and paid our fare going to bus station.
ery friendly and pleasant staff and manager. The hotel is located 500 meters from the city center, it is possible to stop the car in a car park. The rooms are clean, warm, very tasty breakfast, which was brought directly to the room. They organized a transfer from the airport, as well as excursions to very beautiful places around Georgia, with wery expereansed driver. We stayed very satisfied. In this I recommend to stay at this hotel.
it exceeded my expectations. The price I paid was incredibly reasonable for the quality of service and comfort I experienced during my stay. The rooms were clean, and well-maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the value I received for the price I paid. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kutaisi, as it truly offers great value for money.
I had an incredible experience staying at Jay's Hotel in Kutaisi. I highly recommend this establishment, particularly for the outstanding hospitality provided by Noda. His exceptional service went above and beyond my expectations. He even personally picked me up from the airport. Noda's genuine care and attention made my stay truly memorable, and I will definitely choose to stay at Jay's Hotel again in the future.
This is such a nice hotel in Kutaisi at a great location. The rooms are nice, spacious, the bed is very comfortable. After two weeks of homestays, it was great to find toiletries in the bathroom and have an amazing breakfast - it was delicious as if you stayed at your aunt, but as plenty as an all inclusive. What made it stand out was the extremely kind and helpful staff. Very highly recommended!
I didn’t expect the hotel comparing with the price! First let us not say Hotel! It’s a motel!! It’s like you’re in relative’s home! If we come back late we need to wait till someone opens for us! They did not clean the room when we were out !! The breakfast is so poor! Only 2 staff and they don’t speak English !!! Rooms quite small !! I don’t recommend and won’t come back if I visit Kutaisi again
Excellent location, five minutes' walk from the main square. Quiet street, good neighborhood, nice yard. Rooms, bathroom, lounge clean, tidy and very nicely furnished. The owners Ljudmila and Aleksander are hospitable and friendly. They help us to find taxi to airport, and check it early in the morning. Top place for stay in Kutaisi. Best recommendations for Bubu Guesthouse..
As our plane departured 5 a.m. from Kutaisi airport so we found this Hotel a few km from the airport for one night stay. Room is simple and small but porfict for the short stay. Bathroom clean and really nice. The hotel is outside of Kutaisi so it is not for longer stay for city sightseeing. Staff veri nice and helpful. Even a large nice garden that is worth to see.
The description of Sanapiro Hotel is very simple. Everything was perfect! Hotel facilities, rental car, pick-up at the airport, language skills of the staff, great breakfast! I have nothing to complain about. The staff are family and we felt like we were related to them. I hope that we will return to Kutaisi and especially to the Sanapiro Hotel.
I’ve written already that the hotel is closed down .when we arrived the door were closed and looked as if it was functioning for some time. We had to go to another place. We paid 24 gel to get to the place from the airport and found that we had to look for something else. A very bad situation
Affordable hotel, decent minimalistic rooms, ideal if you're travelling to/from Kutaisi airport.
The best things about the hotel were:
A) Russian guy working at the reception was very friendly
B) Breakfast was very generous and filling, good selection of tea and coffee
Location was great. Internet was working very well. Also you can book tours throughout Georgian. Next day we booked transfer from hotel to airport early in the morning and it was very comfortable for us because we didn't wait for taxi 9driver was waiting for us).
Great location just on the marshrutka's bus stop. Good chooise when transfering from Kutaisi airport to other parts of Georgia. A lot of shops nearby and even McDonalds. Rooms were clean and tidy. Note - to get to hostel you shoud use elevator.
My room was upgraded to better one. Everything was good. I was able to check in at 2 am. Even if it is a hostel however it is very clean. And in general the room was much better comparing to other hotels in Kutaisi. Very good for price.
Very clean hotel and quiet. There is balcony where you can have sips of coffee or wine. It’s very convenient to everything and colchis fountain is few minutes walk away. They can arrange also pick up from the Airport.
Hotel is really very nice and Hotel staff Levani and Juba came us to pick-up in kutaisi Airport at midnight 3 o clock.
We are comfortably stayed here and really recommend thus Hotel in Kutaisi.
