The area boasts delightful restaurants and a chance to stroll along beaches where fish swim right up to your ankles, offering a more traditional Spanish feel. For those wanting to explore more, the heart of Benidorm, or 'new Benidorm', provides a lovely 30-40 minute walk to the charming old town. This scenic route is lined with a mix of upscale dining options and more typical lively Benidorm establishments... Despite preconceptions, the city was notably cleaner and less rowdy than anticipated. Benidorm is great for an affordable holiday. Old town is buzzing with people, shops, bars & resturants. Its far enough away from the 'party strip' whilts still have low key bars. Beach & roads surrounding were amazingly clean. Cabs are cheap, drink & food are cheap. Water park is awesome and only a 10 euro cab ride. People are really nice.
