Situé à 9 km du domaine skiable de Tsugaike Kogen, le Sakka Sanso propose des hébergements, un restaurant, un jardin, un salon commun et un bar. We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms are cute, clean, and surprisingly spacious for Japan. They have two steaming hot onsens that can be booked for private bathing times. Everyone who works here is so sweet and kind. The food is delicious, we ate in the restaurant for breakfast every morning (alternating Japanese and western style meals) and most dinners too! Delicious katsu, teriyaki chicken, beef rice bowls, and veggie tempura! We tried a few other restaurants around Hakuba but we kept coming back to Sakka Sanso! They also picked us up and dropped us off at Hakuba Station, helped us arrange taxi rides, tours and gear rentals, and they got us lift tickets at a discount. Add in the awesome location right next to the 3 Sakka lifts and we can't wait to return to Sakka Sanso!

One of our highlights of our trip to Japan was staying at their pension and hiking in the beautiful mountains around Hakuba.

L'établissement Le Bocage - Hakuba Echoland Chalets est situé à Echoland, un lieu de vie nocturne populaire qui compte plus de 30 bars et restaurants. We loved that we had an ample amount of space. The chalet was clean and comfortable and perfect for our family of three. We also loved the washer and dryer and how close it was to various restaurants and shops in Echoland. More importantly, through messaging within the booking app the staff at the hotel went above and beyond for us. They were exceptionally communicative in assisting us after my husband left a bag on the Shinkansen from Tokyo. They also provided a free shuttle ride to and from the bus stop which was great. The drivers were so nice

Accueil très sympa du proprio. Pdj vraiment excellent. Wifi ok. 2 Onsens privatifs (2 personnes). Salle de repos très agréable. Local pour skis et affaires chauffé ! Location de ski tout proche, tout comme les navettes pour Happo-One ou Hakuba 47. Restos dans la rue principale.

Situé à 15 minutes de route de la station de ski de Pilatus, le Nomanomori est un établissement de style chalet proposant des chambres occidentales pittoresques. The breakfast is excellent with home make bread and jams.

Situé à 10 minutes en voiture de la station de ski Hakuba Happo-One Winter, le Pension Tomato propose des chambres spacieuses de style occidental avec une mezzanine. Love it. Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.
