Very spacious rooms. Very clean and great location. Staff very friendly. Private parking space. Kitchen had everything needed including washer and dryer. Very close to shops and the beach and for a great price. Thanks again

Fantastic. Classic Motel vibes & super clean, fabulous view, great location, parking. Easy peasey lemon squeezy access to Lorne & the beach. Kitchenette, cozy bed/couch. Plenty of extra pillows & whatnot.

The location of Lorne Bay View Motel is set to one end of the resort just of the main strip. It is set in blocks around a central driveway so cars can be parked opposite nearly each property. On arrival we were checked in by Adam who was an absolute almanac on Lorne and the Great Ocean Road. He asked about our trip, offered suggestions to fill in the gaps and made us feel so welcome. He showed us to our room/apartment, that was spacious, contained a very comfortable king sized bed, table and chairs, long settee, a large screen tv, great kitchen area including a hob, microwave, fridge, and a great bathroom. Everything you could want. There are also plenty of power sockets, much needed in this tec filled world. We hadn’t seen any Kangeroos, so Adam was quick to points in the right direction and at the right time…. Dusk at the local country/golf club. And was he right! Five minutes from the motel there was a troop of them feeding nd hopping across the fairways. The Lorne strip is close at hand with all the shops, cafes and restaurants to explore. On the opposite side of the road is the beach and park areas and the Great Ocean Road continues to the right towards Apollo Bay and the12 Apostles. A great stopping of point for a break from the journey or an overnight to explore! Adam was a superb host for the property!
